View to the back of the lobby and hall to rest rooms. The very aged certificate on the right by the fountain is the diploma granted to Charles O. Dimond upon his graduation from mortuary school in 1900. To the left is the graduation diploma for Donald C. Dimond from 1933. Degrees and certificates for Donald C. Dimond II and his son, Kenneth M. Dimond, the current manager, are hanging in another office. What does it mean? The family has been in funeral service a long time. But, you will see very little reference to our longevity. Why? A comment from Charley Dimond in the 1940's says it all. "Never put how long you've been in business on the sign. It doesn't matter when you started to the family who needs your help today."
